Restricts access to SNAP benefits. The bill tightens work requirements for SNAP eligibility, ensuring that the DHHS cannot seek waivers or adopt exemptions without legislative approval. Additionally, the bill requires the DHHS to establish data-sharing agreements with state agencies to verify SNAP eligibility .

House public hearing took place 2/25/26.

The House Committee recommended passage.

The full House passed the bill 3/11/26.

The Senate public hearing took place 4/8/26.

The Senate voted to refer the bill to Interim Study on 5/5/26. This means the bill will not see any further action until the 2027 session.
